Round four of the Ginetta GT4 Supercup championship took place on the 14/15 August at Knockhill in Scotland where Smalley took another Pole Position before winning two of the races.

After showing strong pace in testing on the Friday at Knockhill, Adam was confident going into qualifying and two races on the Saturday. Qualifying took place first at 9:00, rain was forecast but not until a few minutes into the session. All of the cars went out onto the track on slick tyres, having only completed one warm-up lap, the rain started. It was a one lap shootout as the rain was getting heavier. Adam managed to piece the lap together to put him at the top of the time sheets by over half of a second. All of the cars came into the pitlane as it was too wet to stay on slick tyres. No one improved their times meaning Adam went on to take his 3rd pole position of the season in only the fourth round.

Race one was held on Saturday afternoon. Adam made a good start and maintained the lead going into the first corner. He focussed on building a gap behind and set the fastest lap of the race, leading all 16 laps and going on to win the opening race of the weekend.

After taking a lights to flag victory in race one, Adam was determined to do the same in race two on Saturday evening. He again made a good start and built up a good lead in the early laps. The race was 24 laps and Adam led every lap before taking his 5th victory of the season.

The final race of the weekend was held at 12:25 on Sunday. As it was the reverse grid race, Adam lined up 5th on the starting grid. He made a good start and moved up into 4th going into the first corner. After chasing down a podium for most of the race, Adam crossed the line in 5th place to score some good championship points.

Having taken pole position, two wins and a 5thplace, Adam closed in on the championship lead heading into the next round of the championship at Thruxton on the 28/29 August.
