Adam Smalley took the 2018 Ginetta Junior Championship in a tense finale at Brands Hatch, but without loyal sponsors – he wouldn’t have made it onto the grid to achieve this!
After winning a paid season in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2017 – as a result of winning the Ginetta Junior Scholarship, Smalley headed into this season battling to be on the grid.
This was despite winning the 2017 Ginetta Winter Series at the conclusion of the season.
In 2018 however, Smalley was lucky to receive backing from a great bunch of partners, who’s support and investment allowed him to be on top of his Ginetta G40 machinery, take pole positions, podiums and race victories – on his way to the overall Driver’s Championship with Elite Motorsport.
Smalley’s partners Total Rail Solutions, Reflex Vans, GDS Group, Madame Tussauds Blackpool, F1 Alloys and Snap-On ‘Dan Morley’, have all contributed to the youngster’s success in 2018.
Adam Smalley “It’s been a fantastic year for me and none of it would have been possible without the help from my sponsors.
Each and every one of them has played a massive part in success over the last two years.
From winning the scholarship to winning the winter series and then go on to win the main championship has been unbelievable. I can’t thank everyone involved enough”
Smalley’s 2019 season plans are still in progress, depending on partnership investments and championship deliberation – where a full announcement will be made online and on social media in due course once everything is finalized.
