Marking a new era in 2023,Adam has switched to front-running outfit Team Parker Racing, which has won two of the last three Drivers’ titles. After a great debut season in the championship finishing runner up, Adam’s full focus will be on challenging for the overall title.
Adam claimed a debut victory at Donington Park in 2022, following up with nine further podium appearances to finish second in the standings. The 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship is set to be one to watch with 24 drivers taking a place on the starting grid. A mix of new and returning drivers will contest for the top spot over the course of the season.
The on track action will start with two test sessions on Thursday, April 20th, before the all-important qualifying session at 13:50 on Saturday 21st. The first of two 24 lap contests is scheduled for 12:10 on Sunday, with race two at 16:30, both of which will be broadcast live on ITV4.
“I’m really looking forward to getting the season underway. We had a very strong debut year finishing runner up so I’ll be pushing to go one step higher this season. It’s a change of atmosphere joining Team Parker Racing for this season but we’ve had a great pre-season testing programme and have fitted in well with the team. Heading into the first race weekend of the year I’m confident in that I have a good team around me to challenge at the sharp end of the field but I know it’s not going to be easy. We won the opening race of the year in 2022 so my sights are firmly set to replicate that.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to Duckhams Yuasa Racing and all of our new and returning partners for this season. Without their support none of this would have been possible. It should be a very exciting season and I’m really looking forward to giving it my best shot.”
