As a BRDC qualifying championship it is a stepping stone into a career in professional motorsport, while the Pro-Am grid format caters for both career drivers and gentlemen racers who want an enjoyable, close season of sprint racing.
The Ginetta G55 GT4 is raced on almost every continent of the world and is one of the most successful GT4 cars ever made.
By being one of the most hotly contested support series to the British Touring Car Championship, alongside live coverage on ITV, the equalized car and single-make championship is designed to uphold Ginetta’s ethos of providing safe, controlled racing, whilst focusing on driver potential rather than racing budget.
Supporting the BTCC, the single-make championship uses identical G55 GT4 spec race cars, featuring on weekend with 30000 trackside spectators, With at least one race per weekend live on ITV4, this offers the best showcase to drivers and sponsors.
Broadcast live on ITV4, the SuperCup Championship offers unrivaled exposure for drivers, teams and sponsors thanks to its place on the BTCC support bill.
Each weekend racing features plenty of track time. There is a 2 x 45 minute practise sessions, followed by a 20 minute qualifying session with three 20 minutes races at each round of the championship.
The championship visits 8 different British Racing Circuits, in a 23-race calendar that visits some of the iconic circuits such as Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Donington and more.
