Porsche Carrera Cup GB

The UK's fastest & most prestigious single marque GT racing championship

Porsche Carrera Cup GB continues to be an unmissable feature of every motorsport enthusiast’s calendar. It’s still the fastest single marque GT racing championship within the UK.

Entering its 21st season in 2023, the prestigious Porsche Championship continues to be a magnet for spectators and drivers. The Championship is the perfect audition for ambitious drivers keen to prove themselves, and to accelerate their progression within the world of motorsport.

Identical cars are used for this Championship, therefore focusing on the pure driving skill of racing. This creates a thrilling, close race environment and provides superb facilities for both drivers and teams.

Former success stories include drivers such as Charlie Eastwood, Richard Westbrook, and Michael Meadows. All used their accomplishments as Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain champions to fuel their careers as professional GT racers.

Runner-up in the 2012 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, Ben Barker competed in a Porsche 911 RSR in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Whilst Dan Harper, the 2018/2019 Porsche Junior champion achieved enviable success as a factory driver for the BMW Junior Team, recently graduating as an official BMW works driver.

Others have made the move into British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), including triple champion Dan Cammish, Sam Tordoff, Tom Oliphant, and Ollie Jackson. Nicholas Latifi, who competed in the 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain season, reached the pinnacle of motorsport in 2020 as a driver for the Formula 1® Championship Team, Williams Racing.

Several other former champions have gone onto compete in rounds of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, including Josh Webster, who won the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain in 2014.

Joining Josh are 2018 champion Tio Ellinas, 2018 Rookie champion George Gamble, Pro-Am category champion Seb Perez and Dan Harper, the 2018/2019 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain Junior Driver, the youngest ever Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain champion.

The latest name to join these Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup alumnus, is, Harry King the 2020/2021 PCCGB Junior. In 2022, Harry became a Supercup podium finisher, whilst also achieving glory at the championship in Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux.

These drivers and their impressive achievements are further testament to why Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain attracts the highest calibre of skill and proves how the Porsche brand continues to invest in drivers and teams in 2023.

Welcome to the 2023 championship, another action-packed season.
